VW Touareg FL 3.0TDI CVVA
VW Touareg FL 3.0TDI CVVA
Hello. What group of engines is correcrly for CVVA engine (VW Touareg FL 2015 3.0TDI)? Thanks.
Re: VW Touareg FL 3.0TDI CVVA
Group 2 should work, but the EGR value isn't working.
Anyway try every group looking for some better setting.

Re: VW Touareg FL 3.0TDI CVVA
Hello,
Group 10 looks almost OK (just reports definitely wrong DPF percentage value in my case - MY2017 EDC17 193kW) ... is there any information i.e. ECU info from Carista/VCDS, that is necessary for DEV to create appropriate group for CVVA 3.0TDI engine? I can try to collect ...
At least I'd like to ask for clarification: What "Field Regeneration Limit Override" stands for?
What value in this field is expected to be filled? ... max. soot mass in grams or volume of DPF? I believe that percentage is calculated against this value, really dunno what to fill in in case of CVVA

That override field can be used to force a different limit for the field regeneration. The program uses a registered value, but due to the fact that most of the supported engines have been tested by users just starting the app, the limit can be wrong in some cases. Moreover if you use the app with an engine not present in the list, you can see values on the screen but they can be wrongly calculated. For those reasons, I let the users to set a custom limit in case they see a wrong filling percentage. For example if you see the regeneration starting always at 130%, this means that the limit inside the app is too low. Usually I've seen the limit near 24 grams for 2.0 TDIs with the exceptions of California/T5/etc that have a limit to 30 grams (probably due to a bigger filter).
A recent 3.0 TDI that I've tested has the limit near to 28 grams.
