Hi,
​I am a user of your VAG DPF application and I am driving a Škoda Yeti 2.0
TDI (2009, 103kW) with the engine code CBDB (PQ35 platform).
​I noticed that the CBDB engine is currently missing from the supported
engine groups in the app, even though it belongs to the EA189 family and
uses the older VW TP2.0 protocol over CAN-bus.
​I use a high-quality Vgate iCar Pro 4.0 BLE adapter. Could you please let
me know if it is possible to select a compatible engine group to read my
DPF data, or if you plan to add native support for the CBDB engine code in
the next updates?

Unfortunately there's no way to add your engine, at least currently.
I tried many times in the past to include all engines with ISO TP-2.0 protocol but the big issue was that I needed a car available for my tests for weeks or probably months.
I have friends with those engines, but to build a solid communication protocol I'd need the car available every day for all the debug phase.
I started to build something, but what usually took minutes for test and debug with my car in the garage, it took days or weeks until the next meeting with the friend. Impossibile. This big issue, plus the very poor documentation and knowledge available about that protocol in and android environment, made me interrupt the development.
After that, I'm currently spending few hours per week in the app maintenance because my free time is less than 10 years ago, so at the moment there's no chance I can implement the support for the old diagnostic protocol, I'm sorry.
