Your engine code should be DDCB.
Unfortunately I don't have any feedback about it and I don't know if it works with VAG DPF.

The only way is trying every engine group (in the options menu) to check if some of them is ok for your engine. Maybe using the free app before to buy the full.

Sorry, it doesn't work.

Why VAG cars do often regenerations after new software?

I don't have the correct answer, but my personal opinion is that it happens because the ECU doesn't have historical data enough to be safe, so it launches regenerations closer than usual. Probably because the DPF system is risky for safety and every possibile fail must be prevented in advance.

After some hundreds km, everything should become to normal.

When there is an adaptation in progress, for example after a battery or ECU replacement, usually the ECU starts with the most conservative parameters and then step by step it returns to the standard functionality.
The sensors history is normally used by the ECU for its calculations.

I think something else.

In manual I read that the threshold for active regeneration is set too low. At 18-30 gr of soot mass. In this range the car starts to raise revs and it can't be finished at idle or city drive. I have to go to highway with speed of more than 60 km/hour at 2000 revs/min to finish the regeneration process.

Why is this threshold set too low after update the new software? For example, my previous audi had higher measurements for starting active regeneration. BMW also has higher threshold.

In fact the standard limits I've seen are 24 or 28 or 30 grams, and usually the ECU starts to heat the filter only some grams below.
Strange behaviors usually means faulty sensors, but it's the case to investigate deeper.

In my personal experience I've seen that with the previous A3, the ECU started the regenerations with bigger range, probably taking in consideration the driving conditions, the current A4 is different: the ECU follows the limits more strictly, both for start and finish the process.
For example the A3 regeneration started many time at 20-21 grams instead of 24 when I was driving in highway for many km. The A4 in the same condition doesn't start the regeneration and waits for the limit of 24 grams. The same for the end: the A3 stopped the regeneration at 2-3 grams while driving in highway, the A4 always stops at 6 grams, regardless of the driving conditions.
This is just to say that in your case it's possible that the ECU update has changed the regeneration logic. This is just an opinion not based on certain information.

For sure your engine doesn't work as expected, you could post some txt log here so we can check all the parameters. You have to understand if it's a temporary condition or not.

Thank you for your answer.
I noticed the difference between my previous car A6 MY 2008. and now A6 MY 2018. Everything is OK with car, I've already checked this. I also read many experiences of owners and definitely after Diesel-gate scandal, they noticed the similar thing with frequent regenerations. It means for the whole VW concern (audi, vw, skoda) not only for audi.

How much soot release the engine 2.0 tdi EURO 6 per km? I read that approximatelly 100 mg soot per km in city drive and between 10-20 mg per km when yopu drive at highway. Is that correct?

It's very variable, but my 2.0 TDI EURO 6b has more or less that rating.

In winter, my regenerations start every 200-250 km using the car mainly in city with some long trip of about 50-100 km in the weekend.

Exactly. My car also. In winter if I have completely city driving it's approximately every 160-170 km. With some trip in the weekend I have to do more kilometers for starting regenertions.
Which engine do you have and which is the MY? My is 110 kw, 2.0 tdi, ultra (2018 MY)

How many kilometers does your car have and which is the percentage of oil ash? I only want to compare with my car, nothing more.

MY2017 2.0 TDI 140 KW QUATTRO (with torsen, not ultra) S-tronic

Currently it has 76.000 Km and the oil ash is at 25%. With the current rate is should reach the 100% at 300.000 Km more or less.
