The vag dpf application worked correctly but suddenly it does not connect to the car, the lite version connects to the obd cube (everything works) so the failure is on the side of the vag DPF application

The free and the full app share the same connection protocol.
I've experienced this kind of issue too using a good adapter: it seems random so I can't understand if is the ECU that refuses the connection or the app that asks something wrong to the ECU. Maybe it's just a matter of bad timings, but I can't improve the protocol because I can't reproduce the issue systematically.

Logging the can traffic in those conditions, I can only see that the ECU replies with a bad request answer that's impossible because exactly the same request, in another time, produces a good answer by the ECU.

What should I do? Can it be fixed?

In my experience, this issue happens very few times, more or less every 2-3 months.
If you experience it many times per day, I can only suggest to try with another good adapter.
Probably the adapter quality has an impact on the issue.

Reinstalling helped to solve the problem.
