well, another regen kicked in today , just 150 miles since last one.
Completed in approx 15 min without interruption while driving.

How bad can it get to have regen every 150 miles?
What is normal regen frequency anyway?

150 miles can be ok is you use the car principally in city and sometimes in highways.
I have about the same distance and I drive in city almost always with one highway trip of about 2-300km during the weekend in which the ECU usually do the regeneration.

You could increase this distance driving many times in highway because running at high revs your engine burns the soot without any intervention of the ECU (passive regeneration). With the app you can see the soot mass calculated almost constant or increasing/decreasing a few.

Time to update DPF stats:
oil/ash residue @
71.6 K 31% (24.5 g) oil service @ 71.6K
75.5 K 32% (25.8 g)

Added 300ml Carlube DPF Cleaner to full tank.
Hoping this will increase distance between regens.

Just 112 miles since last regen, using fuel with DPF cleaning addtive (Carlube).
Mileage between regens is not great at all, because it is just urban driving with short distances.
Not impressed with Carlube as it is supposed to "lower temperature at which fuel burns in the filter" helping with passive regens. I was expecting more mileage between regens with DPF cleaner, now seeing even less.

Definitely not worth a penny spent.

I know this situation, it happens also to me very often driving in city.
My experience with filter additive is the same: the result was worse than expected so I never used it again.
