Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I own a 2010 Škoda Superb 2.0 TDI (125 kW). The car doesn't show any notification on the dashboard when performing a DPF regeneration—I only notice a slight rise in RPM. Because of this, out of curiosity, I bought a KONNWEI adapter and the app.
I haven't noticed any issues with the car and there are no error codes, but I'm attaching a screenshot of the current status from the app and would appreciate feedback from those with more experience.
Does the regeneration start automatically when the soot level reaches 100%, or at a different point? Is there anything specific I should keep an eye on?

The regeneration starts near 100% but there are many factors that can change the standard rule, for example it's postponed if the fuel level is low or when the engine temperature is still not in the normal range. On the contrary, it starts very soon, also with engine cool, if you interrupted it many times and the soot is high.
These strategies depends on the engine software because I've seen different behaviors with my own cars. They probably improved the dpf management in the years. Keep using the app will reveal you how your engine manages the regen.

The clue of an incoming regeneration is in the post injections, in particular if you see the post injection 3 value becoming constantly higher than 0, it means the ECU is injecting more fuel to increase the DPF temperature and consequently starting the regen.
The app takes look on the regen duration time because when the regen process starts, the duration counter starts too and the app alerts you about that. But this is valid for a regen started from 100% soot filling because when you interrupt a regeneration, the duration counter remains at the last value (different from 0), in this case the app shows the specific icon, a little dpf and the ECU text below, to alert you about a pending regeneration.
When there's a pending regen but it's not in progress (e.g. when you start the engine after an interrupted regen), you can look at the post injection 3 to understand if a new regen is about to start.
