Differential pressure

Post by TarasV » Thu Jul 31, 2025 11:50 pm

Hey, I'm trying to check the differential pressure on my Volkswagen Golf 7 1.6 TDI. I watched a lot of videos and noticed that the value is provided at the bottom right corner. In my case, after connecting my ELM to my phone and initiating the app, it displays post injections 1, 2, and 3; however, differential pressure is missing.

Do I need to do more presets because I did not find a solution to this problem?

Differential pressure is a primary parameter: this means that it's my first choice if I find it available in the diagnostic parameter list, otherwise I have to switch to another parameter in replacement.
I think this happened when I built the setup of your engine. Can you tell me the engine code? So I can verify that.

Not all engines have all the parameters available. Sometimes a new ECU software release adds more parameters and sometimes parameters exist but I haven't find them during my scans (for my mistake). So I can re-check if there's something new to add or something to correct.

In the meantime you can try to use all the engine groups available in the options and check if the differential pressure can be read from your engine ECU.

I have the same issue. My vehicle IS a T6 multivan 150 cv. CXHA/2018 r4 2.0 l TDI. Is possible to show differential pressure on my app?

The app can only read the parameters.
No active command is present, this was my choice when I started to develop the app: a read-only app to avoid any issue and guarantee to the users that there isn't risk for the car.

I found formulas for both missing parameters for the CXXB engine - calculated mass and differential pressure, I hope the creator will add it to the application soon and release an update.

I was also looking for Differential Pressure for my 2020 Seat Leon 1.6TDI (DTGE) and found my way to this thread. DTGE is in Group 13 on the app, however Group 13 doesn't show Differential Pressure. I tried other groups starting from group 1 - group 15 was the first group that appeared to be 'compatible' and showed Differential Pressure (also shown was DPF output temp which wasn't shown in Group 13). I was able to get a sensible (believable) reading. Can Differential Pressure be added to group 13 please? Additionally, In group 13 for DTGE Post Injection 1 and 2 returned 0 for the duration.

Also, why is the dashboard limited to 12 tiles? Could more tiles and scrolling be implemented?
