DPF PROBLEMS 1.6 tdi CXXB
DPF PROBLEMS 1.6 tdi CXXB
Good day. Im coming here with some problems with my CXXB. DPF filter in my skoda octavia 1.6 tdi cxxb 2015 year regens every 160-170 kilometeres, previously it was 300-320 kilometeres for regen. In VAG DPF app i dont have paremeter of "Differential Pressure (hPa)" and "Scoot Mass Measured", but for theese two i have post injection 3 and nox sulfur charge. Why it works like that? In my opinion differential pressure is one of the most important thing in DPF. My second problem is that, Post injection 1 and Post injection 2 always indicates 0,00. Is it good? Two photos attached. Sorry for my bad english. Thank you for help.
Re: DPF PROBLEMS 1.6 tdi CXXB
Unfortunately the differential pressure value wasn't available when I tested the CXXB engine in 2017, this is the reason why it isn't present, as already explained by email. Anyway I'm trying to find new information about it.
The post injections must be present for sure during the regeneration because they are the mandatory to increase the DPF temperature and consequently to burn the soot. Moreover some engine is more aggressive than others using those injections, for example to control the noise or to make the driving smooth, or also to start the short NOx regeneration.
I don't know how your engine works, but no post injections while no regeneration is in progress could be normal. Someone else with the same engine could confirm.
