Unfortunately I don't have experience with it and I never received a feedback from users.
Have you ever tried to use the existing groups? If you use a good adapter, I think some of them should let you read at least some parameter.

I've got exaclty the same 2015 Passat B8 140kW(190PS) with DDAA engine and I use the app from March 2024, and it worked perfectly automatically from the beginning.
