I received this message
Unable to communicate with engine ECU even with OBD2 protocol.

Did you voluntarily disable the soot mass measured field? Maybe you clicked on it without meaning to?

After this feedback I think I have to change the commands sequence to avoid the error after the 0100 request. This should remove the error popup for the supported 29-bit ID engines and make the connection free of warnings.

My apologize, I've been very busy for other problems in last 2 weeks.
I'm going to work on the app in next days, the changes have been already implemented, I need just some test before to publish.
I wanted to add an auto-select function reading from the ecu, but it requires more days so I decided to quickly publish an intermediate update to correct the popup and improve the init process for the BETA profile.

It seems the same engine of eulogitos in this thread, and the beta profile worked for him.
What's your elm adapter? It seems it doesn't agree the first canbus commands that require the ECU parameters.

When there isn't communication, it's quite impossibile to understand if the cause is the adapter of the wrong profile in the app, but as said, your engine worked for other users, so I think you could have the same result with a good adapter, replacing your low cost version.

I have tested the newest version on VW Tiguan DTRC.
It works just fine on Group 18. All valus are correct. This is a MY2024. So you can add this engine to this group in next release.

Interesting that a model year 2025 still uses the previous 11bit protocol.
Maybe VAG changes protocol only when there is an important update in hardware or software.

I've received positive feedback for DTRD engines MY2021 using groups 5, 18 and 20.
It's strange you can't use any of them.

Can you please try those 3 groups and at the end the 97 in the same session? In this way the app logs everything (it appends new errors to the previous) in the error log message and you can post it here.

Does the adapter work with other apps?

Yes the adapter works with carista App i can get there the dpf last time and km of last regeneration.

Checking your last log I'm pretty sure your engine requires the last protocol so the group BETA 97.
I need to understand why the procedure stops with an error instead of go on with the next command, this was a correction made some release ago.
Are you using the last app version 3.40.12?
