Hello everyone,

i use the app in version 3.16.8. i installed the last update about half a year ago.
Now I have the problem that the autoupdate function does not work properly. When the app is started I get values for about 2 minutes. Then the auto update does not work anymore.
You have to restart the app and I will get values again for 2 minutes.

I use Engine Audi A6 C7 3.0 TDI EDC17 CRTD

2 questions:
what adapter are you using?
how is set the auto-update delay?

Hello, i use the OBD2 ELM327 Wifi Adapter.
The Data Auto-Update time is 0 (Continous)

If it's a generic low cost adapter, it can be the cause of the disconnections, and generally speaking, these kind of errors are related to the connection stability between the adapter and the device.

If you don't have particular needs with the wifi, I suggest to switch to a bluetooth adapter that assures a more stable connection spending about 15-20 euro (also in this case, low cost adapters have very poor performance and stability).

It is definitely not due to the adapter. I had no problems with the older version of the software in connection with this adapter.
I also have an additional diagnostic app on my cell phone, this one has no problems either.
The problem is definitely the app

The wifi connection routine is the same since many versions. Do you have problems only with last version 3.16.8 of the app?

I have the Problem with this Version and i also both Versions before. But i dont know the release number.
And before this Updates i have had the old Version with the old DPF Pic in the App. But i cant say the Versions Number.
With this the App was running well

I have Check, i have buy the App on 11.Dez 2019 but the Version i dont know. With this all was fine.

I think the Problem is not the Wifi Connection, because the Connection is stable.
I think the Problem is the Auto-Update. Because i see the Update symbol stops rotates if the problem persists

I try to check what's changed versus old versions. Give me some days
