Hi,
I am the owner of the 2022 A6 C8 40TDI model.
I connect the car to the application and fail to read the ecu
The engine type is DTPA, and it is not visible on the engine list.
Is there any way to connect?

Probably a new engine with 29bit initialization diagnostic protocol.
At the moment it isn't supported by the app, I'm sorry.

I have one question for you.
How many kilometers does it do regeneration? Does it rise revs?

Engine group No. 18 DTTC is selected and works well.
Please refer to the DTPA engine owner.

Not all DTTC engines work, some of them have the new protocol and some not. Probably the MY22 has the new 29 bit init protocol

I have a Skoda Octavia with DTTC - App does not work (though the app and the adapter DO work on a 2018 VW Golf).

Yes - the Octavia is MY 2022.

I bought the app just to support and hope it will work in the future ;)

Hi!

I have tried the app "CarScanner" since my last post - it uses (or claims to use) a 11bit protocol.

I do not know how or why, but it is able to read most parameters. It is just very inconvenient to handle to keep the DPF Status in check.

Would sharing a logfile help? Maybe it's not a completely new protocol and a different problem?
