Audi CVUA engine - 2x nd

Post by chobot » Sat Jan 17, 2026 6:24 pm

Hi, is it possible to debug app for CVUA engine? With custom engine group 10 or 16 app works almost fine, but Soot Mass Measured and DPF Output Gas Temp are missing. I can help with parameter identification and validation using VCDS. Thank you.

Have you found those parameters in VCDS for your engine?

Yes, I can read those values using Advanced Measuring Values menu. It probably runs over UDS protocol. If it helps, I can provide used IDEs from VCDS.

Update: It seems, that only nd parameter is DPF Output Gas Temp (group 10). This engine has 4 exhaust gas sensors, I'm not sure if one of them is DPF Output Gas Temp.

Anyway, due to unstabillity connectetion, I bought OBDLinkMX+ and now is way better. But app still shows hundred of errors. What this parameters means? It is information, that app is trying to read something not available, or it means that connection with adapter is poor?

The error counter simply counts the wrong answers received by the ECU versus what the app is expecting.
If you have an nd value, every update cycle adds a new error, in this case you should disable the nd field tapping on it.

Thank you for the tip, after disabling DPF Output Gas Temp parameter, app not reporting any errors. So for CVUA engine it works almost fine. I'm using group 10.
