Re: 2020 2.0 TDi EVO Engines support

During the test, have you noted if at the bottom of the screen are present ECU data? There are 4 pink texts.
Maybe if you've taken a screenshot, you could share it.

Re: 2020 2.0 TDi EVO Engines support

Unfortunately, remotely you can't help me.
I'd need to connect my instruments to the car.

Anyway, last engines usually work with my app, but after connecting it, you should manually try every engine group to find the best one for your engine.

Let me know

Re: Data logging issue

This error appears when the app can't write nor create the log file and usually the problem is related to the internal sd memory path that many producers customize. Also recent android 10/11 limitations about internal sd access can be the reason. Can you tell me your device model and the installed a...

Re: Autoupdate function freezes

The wifi connection routine is the same since many versions. Do you have problems only with last version 3.16.8 of the app?

Re: Autoupdate function freezes

If it's a generic low cost adapter, it can be the cause of the disconnections, and generally speaking, these kind of errors are related to the connection stability between the adapter and the device. If you don't have particular needs with the wifi, I suggest to switch to a bluetooth adapter that as...

Re: 2017 Caddy IV 102 2.0TDI

It's normal that regen finishes at 10%, it never reach 0% because would be too long (and expensive in term of fule conusmption). It's not normal that the soot mass suddenly goes to 100%, this usually happens when the engine reaches the maximum accepted mileage or time since last regen, but this isn'...

Re: 2017 Caddy IV 102 2.0TDI

A comment from someone who owns your engine would be better, of course. In my experience, when I drive for many weeks only in city, the distance since last regen is near 200km so I don't consider a problem your mileage between regenerations, unless you drove only in highways. But I've seen different...

Re: Connection OK but cannot read ECU data

The engine is supported ;) Just a question: after the connection procedure, can you see ECU data at the bottom of the screen? If yes, maybe the app is connected but you didn't start the data reading tapping on the filter image. Otherwise if you don't see ECU data, the adapter can't read information ...

Re: Connection OK but cannot read ECU data

Your car is recent so I think your engine is using the last diagnostic protocol for sure. Usually all recent engines are at least partially compatible with the app, but almost always they're fully compatible. With a good ELM adapter you should see at least the ECU data at the bottom of the screen, b...

Re: CFGB partial support

Partial support because I've found some CFGB engines working and other not working. It depends on the ECU software version.
If you know your ECU SW version I can be more precise about its compatibility.

Re: Invocation of regeneration.

Many users asked me to introduce that function, but I prefer to keep the app read only to avoid any risk of damage both for the ecu and for the engine. The service regeneration is a risky process, it requires at least a minimum knowledge about the risk of fire. I prefer to let this function to a pro...

Re: VW T6 CXGB

CXGB should be the EURO6 version of the CAAB engine and CAAB is working partially (it's missing the EGR value). I don't have any other report about CXGB, if you want to try, maybe with free app, let me know the results. As the engine isn't recognized by the app, you have to change the engine group m...

Re: 4.2 TDI CKDA

Probably yes, if your engine has a completely different architecture, the DPF ECU requests could be completely different from those present in the groups of the app. A scan with VCDS or any other program can't help me because I couldn't see the raw CANBUS data. I should scan an ECU using my instrume...

Re: 4.2 TDI CKDA

Good! This means your engine uses the last diagnostic protocol.
Now you should try every engine group available in the options menu and check is one or more of them is able to read the parameters. Let me know the results so I can evaluate which one can be the best group for you.

Re: 4.2 TDI CKDA

CKDA was launched in 2011, it's possible it uses the last diagnostic protocol. In my experience I've seen that cars since about 2010-2011 use the last protocol. With last protocol there are high possibilities the app works, but it's impossibile to know this without a real test in car. Can you try th...

Re: Skoda Superb DPF exhaust temp 999

These values are completely out of sense and could be a clue of something not working well, personally I would check as soon as possible with a VAG tester or at least with a VCDS to confirm the values.
