Re: Motor DPCA
It's better to write in English in this forum, I added the google translation to your message. iCar 2 is a good adapter, I own it and it works fine. Your engine is pretty recent and I don't have feedback about it. Using the free app, you could try to set the engine group 18 in the options menu that ...

Re: DDC engine and VAG DPF app
Your engine code should be DDCB.
Unfortunately I don't have any feedback about it and I don't know if it works with VAG DPF.
The only way is trying every engine group (in the options menu) to check if some of them is ok for your engine. Maybe using the free app before to buy the full.

Re: CXMA
Ok this is normal. I added this message (it isn't an error) to inform the user that the connected engine isn't in the supported engine list, so a quick analysis is required to find the best engine group. Without that message, in case of unsupported engine, the app would work using the engine group 0...

Re: Help on OUTPUT GAS TEMP SENSOR
I don't know exactly the matching between the sensor number and the sensor description. This information is usually available in the SSP document, but I don't have it for your engine. I can give you some information about the CXHA engine, that shares the same engine group in the app so could be simi...

Re: CXMA
I don't have any feedback about CXMA, it's a 1.6 TDI but there are many groups with similar engines. But it's easy, you can try every group and select the one with the best reading. If you have doubt you can ask here. About the error opening the app: can you give me more information? I'm facing conn...

Re: VW Golf Mk8 2.0 TDI EVO 115 PS engine (2021)
Some recent TDI engines have been tested successfully, but not exactly yours. It most likely works, but I can't be 100% sure without some feedback from other users.

Re: VW Touareg FL 3.0TDI CVVA
That override field can be used to force a different limit for the field regeneration. The program uses a registered value, but due to the fact that most of the supported engines have been tested by users just starting the app, the limit can be wrong in some cases. Moreover if you use the app with a...

Re: 2.0 TDI CRLB frequent regeneration
I've seen many times failures not reported in the ECU log, so don't trust in it. The best would be to ask to a real engine expert, not to the common service guy that we often find the the official services. About last the question: VAG DPF simply reads parameters coming from the ECU, the calculation...

Re: 2.0 TDI CRLB frequent regeneration
I don't have direct experience, but when the calculated soot mass is replaced by the measured soot mass to trigger the regeneration, this means some sensore failure. At least based on the feedback received by users in last years. This is also the reason why many of them asked me to add the measured ...

No it doesn't work.
OBDeleven dongle works only with its related app because of their decision, it isn't and ELM327 compatible adapter.

Re: CFCA Engine
Strange case, I didn't see part of parameters read correctly and part stuck at fixed value. Everything is possible for who knows how the ECU is programmed, but it's a very hard work in my opinion. Common use is to remove all warnings and MILs after an engine modification (DPF removing, EGR closing, ...

Re: Oil Ash Residue.
Hello, I also have also a question about the Ash Residue value. I had previously driven the CUNA engine. Everything was displayed there. I currently drive a CDUC engine. Unfortunately, this value is missing there. Can something be changed about that? Can you change the channel? I could use VCDS to ...

Re: Communication error - ELM-327
The reason is the adapter quality. I quote here the related FAQ available in this forum ( https://www.applagapp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=319 ): Why my adapter works well with tons of OBD apps but doesn't work with VAG DPF? Other apps use the OBD2 protocol that uses only 2 bytes of data to commu...

Re: Suport DSU engine
I never had the possibility to test it and I received some request about it, but no confirmation by the users.
I don't know if it works, but being pretty recent, I think is highly probable it works. The only way to verify this is trying with the app.

Re: Oil Ash Residue.
If the app shoes the percentage in the oil ash field, you can use it as an indication of the filter life. If you don't see the percentage, your ECU doesn't have the maximum oil ash value but for a 2.0 TDI I usually see this value near 60-70 grams. You can use this value to estimate the filter life, ...

Checking in the mail DB, I've found only 2 requests about VEEPEAK adapter, both related to connection problems, but after my reply, they didn't confirmed if the problem has been solved or not. So I don't have good feedback about it. What's the error you see? Does the app start to connect and then yo...
