You can only verify when the user reads the message checking if it moves from "outbox" to "sent" folder in your private message page.

Re: DPF failing to regen and output gas temperature question
It could be a sensor in a different position versus other engines and this can be the reason of lower values. But this is only an hypothesis, let me check if I have detailed information about your engine.

I need also the 4-digit SW number that you can see after the VAG code in the app. Thanks

Re: How to reduce oid ash residue
The only way is dismounting and cleaning the filter.
Or replacing it, of course.
The oil ash can't be reduced during the normal engine operation, neither with the high temperature of the regeneration phase.
More or less, it will reach the 100% tolerated value in 250-300k km. This is the filter life.

Re: DPF failing to regen and output gas temperature question
First we have to understand which is the right output gas temperature sensor read by the app, because in the exhaust line there can be many temp sensors and not always the same in between different engines. Usually I try to find the sensors as close as possibile to the DPF, but it couldn't be near t...

Re: Soot Mass Measured not visible
I don't have a detailed database of each engine. Many of those present in the list have been tested by users with an existing setup for another engine, if they've found all parameters read correctly, the I added the new engine to the engine group. To find the correct "soot mass measured" for your en...

Re: Soot Mass Measured not visible
Usually the soot mass measured gives useless (for us) values because totally unrelated to the normal soot growth and often negative (confirmed using the official VAG tool). This is the reason why in the first releases of the app I skipped that value, but then many users asked me to introduce it beca...

Re: High Press EGR Closing (%) showes unplausible value
No problem, I can.
To configure the app, I need to understand the ECU SW code to set the correct engine group automatically.
Can you send me a screenshot of the app connected and running? At the bottom there is the information I need.

Re: Help with DPF report
Usually a big jump in the soot mass calculated is related to a differential pressure sensor failure. It's only a statistic. Of course the app can't be used as a diagnostic tested to obtain the exact reason of the failure, but you can start with that sensor, it's the first check that usually is done....

Re: High Press EGR Closing (%) showes unplausible value
The values are always implausible, but before March they was fine? Correct?
You can try every engine group, if you find correct EGR values in some of them, I can create a new group for your (apparently) different CXHA engine type.

Re: High Press EGR Closing (%) showes unplausible value
No changes in group 13. I've only introduced the group 15 for some CXHA engines that have a bigger filter with higher limits, but the parameter requests are the same.
Ate the values always implausible or just sometimes?

Re: Dpf app after remap
EGR is working, otherwise you would see a fixed value (usually 100 meaning EGR closed electronically). To check if it's working fine you can fully depress the accelerator pedal and see if the EGR value remains constantly at 100% value. A possibility is that the EGR has been closed mechanically, but ...

The app works only with the last diagnostic protocol and your engine uses the old one.
This is the reason why it doesn't work.
