What's the adapter model?

I tested the app with a Veepack BLE+ adapter, but it's probably working also as non-ble device, I suspect.

There's for sure something not working, hoping it could be temporary.
Unfortunately I've never experienced DPF failures with my previous cars so I can't give you useful advice.

The error counter simply counts the wrong answers received by the ECU versus what the app is expecting.
If you have an nd value, every update cycle adds a new error, in this case you should disable the nd field tapping on it.

That message usually refers to a wrong engine group or a bad ELM adapter.
Did you try with engine group 97? Maybe your engine has the new 29bit init, some DTUAs do have it.

So it's related to the adapter itself.
Unfortunately the APP now doesn't implement the bluetooth pairing function, so that adapter cannot be used.

Interesting, I didn't know some adapters couldn't connect directly to some smartphone.
It's probably something related to the smartphone bluetooth stackup that's usually customized by the smartphone manufacturer.
