Re: Motor DPCA
I've had the opportunity to connect a VCDS tester to a gasoline engine for some kms and in my opinion an app to check the GPF is useless. The soot mass seems to stay always near a fixed value, it doesn't increase linearly to reach the regen limit like in a TDI engine. Sometimes it decreases a little...

Re: DEZE support
It's not a simple task like save a log in your device. It's required at least an expensive can analyzer, but also a minimum knowledge about how to log useful values instead of useless bytes.

Re: CBD engine code
Yes it's possible, but not with VAG DPF.
The official diagnostic tester can read the DPF values, as well as the VCDS software, but they are softwares for windows.
For android I think OBDeleven can read those parameters, but I'm not sure with old engines.

Re: DFBA engine suport
It isn't officially supported because I've received only 1 feedback, but it was positive using the engine group 18. Usually I wait for 3-4 positive feedbacks before to add the new engine. You can try using the free app setting the group 18 in the options. If it works also for you, it's another posit...

Re: VW Touareg III 3.0d DENA
Unfortunately I don't have any feedback about this engine. You should try by yourself with the free app. You can use bluetooth or wifi adapter, but I advise the bluetooth version because I've seen in the past that wifi adapters quality is very low, probably due to their low diffusion in the market. ...

Hi, first I need to know your engine code and if you're using a custom engine group. not all engines have been tested, many of them have been added after good feedbacks from users, but I've added also engines with partial support and not all parameters available. With the engine code I can give you ...

Re: Is it compatible with CVUB?
There are 2 possibilities: your OBD adapter doesn't fully support canbus protocol so it can't work with the app your engine has a different diagnostic setup with different software version so it isn't compatible with any engine group in the app To try to solve the first point, you should try a good ...

Re: DTUA Suport
Hi, I added the english translation to your message. If you used the same obd adapter for both engines, this means that the adapter can work with canbus diagnostic, so the problem is the unsupported initialization protocol that last TDI engines have. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to an...

Hi, you can't connect because your engine isn't supported. It uses an old diagnostic protocol while the app works only with the last one introduced approximately in 2010-2011.

Your ECU probably has the new 29bit initialization protocol that the app doesn't support.

Re: Can I use VAG DPF with Engine CRTC 3.0 Tdi ?
I can't tell you that it will certainty work, because to do it it'd test that engine directly with my instruments, and I don't know if I'll have this opportunity. The only advise I can give you is to try with a good adapter, to discard the possibility that it could be the reason of the failed connec...

I received many feedback about chinese brands like Xiaomy and Huawei that not working with the app when different devices, while using same adapter and sme car, everything works fine. After some investigation in the past, I found that those brands often customize the blueto...

Re: OBDeleven
I know but the problem is that OBDeleven adapter is made to work only with their app.
That adapter isn't an ELM327 compatible device, so it cannot work with other apps using ELM instructions.
I can't do anything, I'm sorry.

Re: Communication error
Old story ... Torque and many other apps use the OBD protocol that communicate using only 2 bytes instead of the full 7 bytes length of the ISO CANBUS protocol. My app, and all the official diagnostic testers, uses the full protocol and requires a good quality adapter. Most of the low cost adapters ...

Re: Is it compatible with CVUB?
It isn't officially supported because I didn't have the opportunity to read it with my instruments. But I received a partially positive feedback from an user that has been able to read almost all parameters setting the engine group 16. After that feedback I didn't receive any other comment, so I can...

Re: Charge rating reference & log
Charge rating reference is the value corresponding to the limit at which the ECU should trigger the regeneration. It's called "field regeneration limit", that's the standard regeneration for TDI engines. The purpose of that option is to customize the limit in case your DPF has different value than w...

Re: hidden value of soot ?
The Nox value can give you the information that the ECU is triggering a quick regeneration to reduce them. It happens usually when the soot mass isn't high enough to launch the standard regeneration. Without this value you could see temperatures raising and high post injection values, withou an appa...

Yes it's only in paid app.
The free app has been created only to check the adapter and the engine compatibility, so it contains only the strictly required strings of code.
