Re: Engine: DTSB
They can be sporadic errors due to bluetooth instability or low adapter quality. If they appear randomly, you can ignore them. If instead you see always 5 errors every time you use the app, it could be due to some unsupported parameter, but in this case you should see the counter increasing contantl...

Thanks for the detailed report.
I confirm the same results with my OBDCheck BLE+ Plus.

And in the picture I see "ELM327 V2.1" instead V2.2 of your scan, to match the graphs below.

Re: BETA test for 29bit init protocol
Strange, I don't see issue in your log, everything worked fine in the initialization. What engine group you selected? Did you leave "read from the ECU"? I see in the log that your engine code is DNAB, it should work setting the engine group 18 in the options, base on some received feedback. Can you ...

Re: Skoda Superb 2024 silnik DXPA
I already answered the same question by email, but for the convenience of all other users, I copy it here: DXPA should work using the engine group 97. You have to set it manually in the options because it's currently on beta testing, but I've received feedback that it works with DXPA. A good quality...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Yes, the connection can be be started directly from AA in next release, the new function is in the code and it works. Everything is ready, I'm in the final test phase that takes some more time because I updated some part of the code to fulfill the mandatory google requirements hence I have to perfor...

Re: BETA test for 29bit init protocol
You can send it by email to applagapp@gmail.com A big log can be useful for sure sooner or later. The measured soot mass can show negative values, it's normal. This happens also with the official vag diagnostic software. That value seems useless, but many users have reported it becomes correct in ca...

Thanks for the feedback. I'll look for specific issues related to that adapter and your mobile device or Android 16.

Re: The App isn't connecting
What's the adapter model?
I tested the app with a Veepack BLE+ adapter, but it's probably working also as non-ble device, I suspect.

There's for sure something not working, hoping it could be temporary.
Unfortunately I've never experienced DPF failures with my previous cars so I can't give you useful advice.
Maybe someone else will read this and respond.

Re: Silnik DSRA Skoda superb
Please write in english if you can. I've received feedback about DSRA, some users reported correct reading using the engine group 18 and some others reported no connection, so with that uncertainty I can't consider it as supported. You can try the engine group 18, or any other group in case 18 doesn...

Re: Audi CVUA engine - 2x nd
The error counter simply counts the wrong answers received by the ECU versus what the app is expecting.
If you have an nd value, every update cycle adds a new error, in this case you should disable the nd field tapping on it.

Re: ECU responds to OBD2 requests but not to CAN ISO-15765 requests.
That message usually refers to a wrong engine group or a bad ELM adapter.
Did you try with engine group 97? Maybe your engine has the new 29bit init, some DTUAs do have it.

I let both your new messages because the contents are not identical, despite some parts are duplicated, but no problem. How many kms did you do after the cleaning? Reading other reports, I understood that the ECU is programmed with very very precautionary routines, this means that if it feels someth...

Re: Urgent opinion/advice
It seems a complicated issue. What I can tell you is to don't fully trust on what your read from the app because those values can be altered by the ECU, if needed. For example the sudden jump of the soot mass is the common clue of the ECU management: it can force the soot mass filling to 100% to imm...

Re: BETA test for 29bit init protocol
You're right, it should have been removed in the latest release, but I modified the code incorrectly. Now I'm working on some improvement in the initialization routine to make the engine group selection fully automated also for newer 29-bit init engines like yours. The new release will solve also th...

So it's related to the adapter itself.
Unfortunately the APP now doesn't implement the bluetooth pairing function, so that adapter cannot be used.

Re: non advisable elm327 for vag dpf app
Interesting, I didn't know some adapters couldn't connect directly to some smartphone.
It's probably something related to the smartphone bluetooth stackup that's usually customized by the smartphone manufacturer.
