Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Hello. Will bem available the app for petrol cars? I have a Seat Ibiza FR 1.0 TSI 115hp. No, I'm sorry, I've never had the chance to use a petrol car with GPF for testing fro a long period. I only made a quick test some years ago with a friend's car and I realized my app wasn't the best solution to...

Re: BETA test for 29bit init protocol
Thanks for the feedback! I have 2 questions looking your pictures: the filling percentage higher that 100% is strange, does it happens often or it's just a single event due to a postponed regeneration? If it's always higher, it could be due to a wrong 100% value, in this case you should understand w...

Re: PASSAT 2.0TDI codice motore CRL

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
With a little delay due to a short holiday with my family (yes, sometimes it happens :D ), I uploaded right now the new release 4.47.17 that should fix the problem. I tried successfully both in the AA emulator and in car, now the counter never reaches the maximum of 5 layouts. I also took the opport...

Re: Skoda Yeti 4x4 2009.god. 103kw. Motor CBDB
Unfortunately there's no way to add your engine, at least currently. I tried many times in the past to include all engines with ISO TP-2.0 protocol but the big issue was that I needed a car available for my tests for weeks or probably months. I have friends with those engines, but to build a solid c...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Update: yesterday and today I massively changed the AA layout management in the app and I probably solved the issue. Before, the app was sending every new page as a new layout, either for new layouts and old reused layouts, then the quota counter increased for every page change. This is the reason w...

Re: Red filter icon
Same meaning of before, I simply changed the icon style.
The hourglass was a little misleading, the ECU text is clearer since the icon appears when the ECU wants to start the regeneration or paused it waiting for better conditions to restart.

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Extremely useful and detailed!! thanks I obtained more or less the same results yesterday night and I found a way to reproduce it on the emulator. The issue seems related to the maximum template quota of 5 layouts and to the way the OS considers a new template instead a refreshed template. I'm inves...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
I finally managed to replicate the problem, now I can hopefully limit the search to some specific constraints only. In my test I usually set the "2 Tabs" layout option for Android Auto, but the issue appears only when "1 tab" layout is set, at least with my car. Can you verify if the same happens in...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Your support here is a great help for me and it's everything I need from you ;) Thanks Tollo 84 for your trust I checked the possibile reasons but there's something not completely clear to me, it seems something related to the limitation of the driver's distraction, but I can't understand if it come...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
It's new also to me, I need to investigate. I can't exclude a new protection feature added silently by google or maybe by some car maker. To keep an app working is an endless job, every time you solve an issue, there's a new feature or limitation that breaks something else. And so on forever. I'm so...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
Found the issue: the broadcast message naming wasn't matching between AA and the smartphone app, so they wasn't able to communicate. Now should be solved. It uploaded the new version 4.46.17 with the fix, I hope they will take less than 5 days to publish it like they did last time  Thanks for ...

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
I'm currently stick waiting for google to solve an issue in android auto server that deny all developer apps to be launched on the android auto test HUD, also using developer mode.
In the meantime I try to find issues in the code.

Re: Android AUTO - official discussion
I'm receiving the same bad feedback from other users, it's strange because both with the emulator and with my friend's cars, everything works fine. I need to check again. The android fragmentation is an absolute mess for every developer. Just a question for you: when you press connect on the android...

Re: recommended to add the engine coolant temperature parameter
Can you explain better? I've never saw a so strong link between water temp and DPF system. Usually the regeneration starts when the water temperature is in the normal range, but I've also experienced situations in which the field regeneration has been launched by the ECU just some seconds after a co...

Re: CUWA Engine Code
I haven't tested that engine yet and received only one very old feedback that was positive, but unfortunately the user didn't tell me the engine group he set. Anyway, looking the engine family, CUWA should work setting the engine group 9 in the options, but in case of fail you can try also all other...

Re: Alhambra DFMA
Sorry, I missed your question in the previous message.
Since the EGR value can't be read, you should try all other engine groups to check if it can.
The best candidate is the group 9 because it contains DLUB and DFLA that belong to the same engine family of your DFMA.

Re: Engine: DTSB
They can be sporadic errors due to bluetooth instability or low adapter quality. If they appear randomly, you can ignore them. If instead you see always 5 errors every time you use the app, it could be due to some unsupported parameter, but in this case you should see the counter increasing contantl...

And in the picture I see "ELM327 V2.1" instead V2.2 of your scan, to match the graphs below.
